Windsor sits between Fort Collins and Greeley, and most of its homes were built in the same 1980-to-2019 stretch that produces our best refinishing candidates. The cabinet boxes are solid. It’s the finish doing the aging, not the construction.
Windsor’s housing is mostly owner-occupied, built across four decades of steady growth rather than one single boom. That means a wide range of door styles, but the same underlying story on almost all of them: good bones, tired finish.
Refinishing resets the finish without touching the layout you already know works.
We’re based on East Harmony Road in Fort Collins, a straightforward drive to Windsor.

Both carry the same Up to 10 years warranty, and both finish in less than a week.
Cabinet Resurfacing keeps your current doors and cabinet style, updating only the color and finish with a spray-booth process that outlasts a brush and roller. Cabinet Refacing replaces the doors and drawer fronts while your existing boxes stay exactly where they are.
Cabinet resurfacing updates the color and finish of your existing cabinets while keeping their current style.
Using premium contractor-grade products and proven techniques, we restore and refresh your cabinetry for a durable, long-lasting finish.
This process also includes repairing minor damage caused by years of use, giving your cabinets a renewed look without the high cost of replacement.
Cabinet refacing replaces your cabinet doors and drawer fronts with new, custom-made designs while maintaining your existing cabinet boxes.
This allows you to completely transform the look and feel of your kitchen, without changing the footprint.
With contractor-grade materials and a factory-quality finish, refacing gives you the beauty of brand-new cabinetry at a fraction of the cost of a full remodel.
Expect around $9,000 for a typical Windsor kitchen, compared to roughly $4,500 for a painter and $35,000 for full replacement.
The painter route needs repainting every four to five years, which adds up to about $13,500 over fifteen years and still falls short of a sprayed finish on durability. Ours holds a ten-year warranty and usually runs fifteen years or longer before it needs attention.

From start to finish, this was one of the best experiences we have had with a home project. The entire team was kind, professional, and so attentive to detail. Our kitchen now looks completely brand new, we honestly cannot believe the transformation! They went above and beyond, especially with the top of the cabinets, and the final result looks like it was always part of the original build.

A job well done! The finish is beautiful. The staff prepared me well for what to expect during the week that they worked. Jim the co-owner supervised the project and handled the finishing touches. Great attention to detail. Jen, the other co-owner, comes to the house to help with colors and other decisions and gives the final price which we felt was very fair.

Summit Cabinet Coatings is excellent at what they do, and we love the end result of our refacing project. They take care in their work, and were great at communicating with us, making sure we knew all of the steps in the project, that we understood the schedule, and that we had what we needed in making any design decisions.
